My MS Story

My Multiple Sclerosis Story

In 1998 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and I would like to share my story with you. My disease does not define me, but it may help shed some light onto the depth of my experiences.

I have gotten a better grip on my health at this stage. After living through many exacerbations over the past 10 years, I have found that the better I take care of myself, eat right,  get adequate sleep, hold back from “over doing it” and keep my emotional state in balance – I live a good and active life. I have made a conscious choice to not take prescribed drugs to manage my disease, but I am NOT advising this to everyone. The National MS Society is outstanding in it’s commitment to assist those who live MS and their family members as well as raising awareness in our surrounding communities. They are committed to reseasrch to find an end to this devastating disease.

Here’s a nice website I came across while writing this. Check it out, and don’t ever loose hope for a cure.
